A little selection of some of my sea glass jewellery

Can you all contain your excitement?! Did any of you know I was even opening a jewellery store?! 😉 Sorry I’ve been underground for a while, finally got ourselves moved to the countryside a few weeks ago which is just wonderful. Now we’re almost settled in, I figured it was time to push ahead with my sea glass crafting business which I’m really excited about as I’ve had so much wonderful feedback on my designs. It feels amazing to be able to share my love of sea glass with everyone and to discover the many other passionate sea glass hunters/enthusiasts worldwide who have given me the confidence and encouragement to follow this new life path.

It feels strange sitting here at my studio desk, looking out over the trees and fields with my sea glass surrounding me while Coppertop plays in the garden. More and more each day we move closer to that increasingly simple life that I aim for and I couldn’t be happier with it. We finally have a place that feels like ‘home’, where I’ve been up before 6am each morning with the dawn chorus, sitting outside with a hot cup of delicately flavoured white tea surrounded by the chattering birds and the rising sun. Where there are community allotments a mere 2 minute walk away and the family farm is just up the road. Where the almost empty living room with trees in view is the perfect space for yoga and meditation. I finally feel like I can breathe out here and we have so much to look forward to in our future! Which brings me back to the sea glass jewellery…

My new Etsy store will be the main home to showcase my sea glass crafts; wire wrapped and drilled jewellery, sea glass mobiles/ wind chimes and dreamcatchers (eventually, starting off with my jewellery!) To celebrate the launch I’ll be giving away two treasures, one wire wrapped and one drilled pendant. One winner will be chosen via our Instagram account and one will be chosen via our Facebook page so head over there, get liking and sharing, you never know it could be you! The competition is open worldwide 🙂

The two pendants being gifted at the end of this week, head over to our Facebook or Instagram for details on how to enter

I promise at some point I’ll get around to sharing proper photos of our new sacred space and most definitely will be getting back to vegan recipe sharing soon, I’ve been eating without a camera in hand (shocking, I know) for far too long now 😉

Lovely to connect with all of you again and can’t wait to develop our new rhythms here which will allow me to post more often. Hope you like the store, feel free as always to leave me a comment 🙂

10 Ways Simplicity Changed My Life

The Wonderful Benefits Simplifying Life Has Brought Me

The Wonderful Benefits Simplifying Life Has Brought Me

It’s a familiar feeling for a lot of us – if I buy this product life will be better/easier/I’ll be happier etc. Bombarded by advertising every way you turn, it’s easy to fall into the consumerism trap, pinning hope on some shiny new item to make you feel more complete. Except it usually doesn’t. Chances are it ends up being a burden – having to clean it, tidy it away, maybe making you feel guilty when you see it on a shelf unused ,reminding you of wasting money or incomplete projects. Possibly even shoved into storage boxes not to be seen for years as the mounting piles of stuff in the attic/garage seems like too daunting a task to undertake. Continue reading →
