Energy bites. Little spheres of yummy goodness… whatever your name for these , most of you will be familiar with them. I love these little guys and so does Coppertop, perfect healthy afternoon snack or breakfast option that take no time at all to put together and you don’t even need a food processor for this version. They taste almost more like orange cranberry cookie dough balls but they’re packed full of fibre and slow releasing energy from the oats, Omegas from the hemp seeds and protein from the nut butter. Potato peeling crisps. Why. Why has it taken me 33 years to discover these? They make perfect sense. Making something tasty ( though not exactly healthy) out of scraps that would normally be composted.
