Copper Rainbow's Story

Welcome...

I'm Ria, the sea glass jewellery designer behind Copper Rainbow, named after my red-headed rainbow loving daughter, nicknamed 'Coppertop' (also chief sea glass hunter).

I specialise in creating individual bohemian sea glass jewellery pieces that bring back lots of happy memories as I make them. I've always been creatively inspired by nature. When I developed a passion for beachcombing , I wanted to combine that creativity, love of nature and the local shoreline that's so close to my heart.

Each day you'll find me creating at my work bench with the hedgerows and fields just outside my window, or walking along the shore listening to the waves with the salty breeze in my face as I search the sand for sea glass glinting in the sunlight, like pieces of lost treasure waiting to be discovered...

Our frosted, ocean tumbled glass is found on the beaches of the Northern Irish Coast , mainly the famously stunning Glens Of Antrim, an area that has held magic and fascination for me since I was a child, inspiring my tagline, 'Where the forest meets the sea' . Now I get to share that wonder and magic with Coppertop on our sea glass hunting adventures. I keep each batch of glass separate so I can recall the memories of each beach trip while I create my unique jewellery and gifts, ranging from beaded surfer bracelets to wire wrapped keepsakes, bookmarks, keyrings, wedding jewellery and more!
